In 2001, facing the cliffs of Bandiagara in the Dogon Country (Mali), Jean-Paul Blachère literally fell in love with Africa. In 2003, this passion was transformed into a commitment to African art, with the creation of a corporate foundation dedicated to disseminating, promoting and supporting the work of artists from the African continent. The exhibition "Bandiagara: au commencement de la collection Blachère", which takes place in the Bonnieux train station, presents key pieces from the early days of the Blachère collection. It reveals the work of 20 artists who have become major references in contemporary art. For further information, click here.
