The Public Relations Department organises free tours

Don't be fooled by the Renaissance style of the City Hall, which, at least as far as its facade is concerned, is a copy of a 16th century building destroyed during the Commune and built in the 19th century. The first town hall, on the other hand, dates back to the 14th century, when the Provost of Merchants Etienne Marcel established the town's administration in a building then known as the Maison aux Piliers. The Public Relations Department organises free tours of the lounges, the Great Staircase and the Paris Council Chamber, witness to many an event.

Visité dans le cadre des journées du patrimoine, nous avons été impressionnés par la magnificence de la Galerie des Métiers et de la Salle des Fêtes. La salle du Conseil ainsi que la Bibliothèque valent également le détour. Notre parcours s'est achevé par le bureau de Mme Hidalgo.

Superbe bâtiment historique, reconstruit à l'identique après un grave incendie au XIXème siècle, dont les salons se visitent sur rendez-vous. Pour les amoureux de culture, le lieu propose régulièrement des expositions très variées.
