In collaboration with Patrick Fouquet, master jam maker world champion 2018, Janick Paytra launches in his turn in the making of artisanal jams. He participates for the first time in 2019 in the Confituriades and obtains the gold medal of the Order of Master Jammakers. Janick prepares his jams in his workshop/shop and sources as much as possible in short circuit: mirabelle plums from his village, strawberries from Dordogne, apricots from Roussillon, kiwis from Lot-et-Garonne... A nice souvenir to bring back from Saint-Emilion, to change the wine!

Open Tuesday to Saturday, 12pm to 5:30pm; Sunday, 1pm to 5:30pm. Online store. First 2 jars €7.90, then decreasing price. Cheques not accepted.

Highly recommended! If you want to buy the best homemade jam, this is definitely the place to go! The owner was very friendly and attentive. He shared about the process of producing the high quality of homemade jams.
Price is also reasonable. 3 for 20€. This review is at least I can do to support this small humble business!

Nous sommes passés par hasard en visitant St Emilion et nous ne regrettons absolument pas.

Nous sommes venus découvrir l'atelier de Janick Paytra sur les conseils d'un restaurateur bordelais. Le maître confiturier était derrière ses fourneaux qui embaumaient la pièce et nous avons reçu un accueil des plus chaleureux. Je recommande vivement un détour par cette boutique.
