the Château de Flaugergues, the "Montpellier folly" of the Millénaire-Grammont district, is one of the city's green lungs. This impressive historical monument and its restaurant are worth a visit. But what makes the reputation of the place more is its vineyard! With a surface area of 28 hectares, it is located in the heart of the AOC Languedoc. A range of grape varieties creates a balance of flavors and allows the production of eight high quality vintages. Pierre de Colbert has been at the helm since 2006 and combines tradition and technology.

The oldest of Montpellier's "Folies" is remarkable in more ways than one: built in 1696, it has endured through history, braving the ravages of time thanks to
thanks to the passion of a single family, the descendants of Etienne de Flaugergues.
Although the property can be visited, it is not a museum in the sense of "sleeping beauty", because the owners live there!
They have chosen to open the doors of THEIR home to the public. Here, the personal photos are mixed with the precious
collections of the XVIIIth century, so that while walking through the rooms, the visitor feels a bit at home.
A wine estate in the heart of the city with its 28 hectares of vineyards classified as AOP Languedoc Grès de Montpellier and IGP Pays d'OC, the Château de Flaugergues has been able to make the development of the Montpellier agglomeration an ally: located in the heart of the Millénaire business center, close to the freeway exit, the estate is very easily accessible to visitors
A restaurant and reception rooms: A restaurant open at lunchtime during the week and on reservation or specific request offers to enjoy a meal around a local and market cuisine, whose menu changes every day. The fully restored Mas welcomes you for all types of events, receptions, meetings, seminars.

Pour quelques jours à MPL. Deux excellents moments au Château. D'abord bravo et merci à la guide pour la visite et ensuite bravo et merci pour le déjeuner au restaurant "Folia." Nous reviendrons!

Nous venons de faire la chasse au trésor, décevante, au téléphone il nous est annoncé château et acteurs, je m attendais à quelque chose de super, au final rien dans le château, seulement les jardins, trop facile et trop court en temps, et rien à voir avec le château pour certaines enigmes, les parents payent alors qu ils sont accompagnateurs, je ne recommande pas très déçue

Per segona vegada hem visitat el magnífic bosc i jardí d'aquest Chateau per la nostra estada a Montpellier. En aquesta ocasió degut a ser final d'hivern i la forta sequera ha fet que els arbres i les plantes no tinguessin el mateix esplendor que en l'anterior visita del juliol del 2021, de totes formes és una delícia poder fer aquesta visita i la considero totalment recomanable.
