A good value bed and breakfast in an authentic Budapest setting.

Located in a 1970-80s style building, 10 minutes from the city centre, the Boulevard City guesthouse offers apartments and rooms at very attractive prices. Very bright and carefully decorated, most of the rooms are located under the roofs, which gives the whole a certain charm. The apartments, with a higher capacity, are very functional. It is comfortable and professionally managed by Ilona, the owner.

Cold water in shower and water leaking everywhere, poor dinner and breakfast variety and bad view, beds a bit hard, no closet, only one towel per person. Slow check-in. Low internet speed.

Shower water was freezing and I waited 45min for checkin,it was not crowded. Reception is slow and not very welcoming. Breakfast in hotel is ok for a 3 star hotel but it could be a LOT better. The variety of food is questionable for example scrambled eggs were sweet. The beds are hard and not really comfortable.
In the room for 4 and 3 there isnt a closet and you will not have enough space for your clothes.

The stay there was quite comfortable and uncomplicated. The check-in was easy and the room was very clean and it was very quiet at night. The breakfast was very good.
