ETHNOGRAPHIC MUSEUM

Superb building built after the Irkutsk fire. As for the collection, it is the oldest in the country: objects, clothes, habitats, arts, plunge you into the different cultural worlds of Siberia, from prehistory to the 20th century. At the entrance is the "deer stone", a red granite slab that adorned the tomb of a notable transbaïkalian, as was customary in the 18th century. The room dedicated to the revolution of 1917 is particularly well furnished.
