ANNUNCIATION CATHEDRAL

The city's main cathedral can accommodate more than 500 people. A recent construction (early 2000 s), it was built instead of the old Saint Nicholas cathedral destroyed in 1930 by the Soviets. Next to the cathedral is the monument dedicated to Innocent of Moscow, evangelist of Siberia, and to Count Mouraviev-Amoursky, a Russian diplomat who contributed to exploring the Far East.
