The old mine reveals the working conditions of the miners and how mining works.

It is said to be the mother of all mines: it is no longer exploited but made the fortune of Schwaz. Today you can visit its remains. Underground the old mine celebrates in its bowels a particularly spectacular sound and light show which reveals the working conditions of the miners and the functioning of a mining operation. The drilling and extraction techniques are very well explained. Good shoes and warm clothing are recommended.

Le seul moment avec sensations fortes : une descente de 800 mètres sur rails dans la galerie de Sigmund, creusée en 1491. Un guide mais malheureusement ne parlais pas français, on à rien compris. Dommage car surement intéressent.

Prix d'entréee assez élevé mais la descente avec le ptit train et la visite vaut le coup. En tant que français nous avons été mis dans un groupe d'anglais alors que nous comprenions meiux l'allemand donc un peu dommage pour certaines explications mais la majorité de la visite se fait avec l'audioguide donc nous avons quand même eu l'essentiel des informations.

This mine one visits (into a helmet and waterproof) with a guide, reflects the working conditions of the Middle Ages.
A pleasant time to spend family, time ago to be able to watch the various machines that were used for the workers.
