Area consisting of three hiking trails that provide beautiful scenery in Zion National Park.
Further away from the traditional routes, the Kolob canyons form the northwestern part of the park. They offer beautiful scenery, which can be explored via the lovely 8 km Scenic Road: it follows a line of ridges and offers magnificent views such as the Timber Creek Overlook. There are three hiking trails in the area: Timber Creek Overlook Trail - 1.6 km - Taylor Creek Trail - 8 km - and Kolob Arch via La Verkin Creek Trail - 22.5 km. Please note: Kolob Canyons Road may be closed during the winter months in case of snow or ice.
