Time has turned Sortosville-en-Beaumont into a capital of delights, and the modest cookie factory, now a gastronomic empire, is now a tourist attraction - even tourist coaches stop here! A word about the storefront: stretching along this country road, the establishment looks like a succession of houses with enchanting storefronts: guaranteed effect! And that’s just the tip of the iceberg of a success story that has become unmissable over the years. It used to be that people came here for a few extra dollars, leaving their children to dream in front of the toy windows of the blue house. Today, it’s a place like no other, and while financiers and a thousand other cakes are on offer, you’ll also find a host of old-fashioned products, for household use for example, as well as numerous local spirits in an incredible cellar, all of which have one thing in common: they’re made entirely in Normandy. What all these products have in common is that they are of the highest quality and have been carefully selected. There’s also a place to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, and of course the opportunity to sample one of the local wonders. If you can, we’d advise you to come here on weekdays rather than weekends: it’s less crowded, and you’ll be able to sit back and savour your moment, choosing your sweet treats or unearthing one of the treasures on offer. Definitely one of the Cotentin region’s must-visits.

Toutefois ils sont maintenant bondés et du coup moins de plaisir à fouiner et regarder. Sensation d'étouffement, c'est dommage ????
