Throughout the year, the National Forest Park organises outings, events and discovery workshops for the general public. Free, but please call 06 74 23 30 91 to reserve.
Spring flowers: Tuesday 16th April - 2pm to 5pm - Maison du Parc national & de la Forêt,
Leuglay. A hike for the general public to learn how to recognise the very first spring flowers in the National Forest Park (anemones, euphorbias...). Organised by the Maison de la Forêt.
Spring flowers" creative workshop (Special for children): Wednesday 17th April - 9.30am to 11.30am - Maison du Parc national & de la Forêt, Leuglay. Friday 26th April - 9.30am to 11.30am - Relais, Arc-en-Barrois: Creative and playful workshop on spring flowers, including making a decorative pot.
Recognition of trees in spring. Saturday 20th April - 9.30am to 12.30pm - Belan-sur-Ource. Saturday 27th April - 9.30am to 12.00pm - Villiers-sur-Suize. Forest outing for the general public to learn how to recognise the trees in the National Park's forests in spring.
Croque nature. Saturday 20th April - 2pm to 5pm - Maison forestière de Charbonnières in Auberive. With the help of Nick Derry, nature artist and painter, come and express your emotions by picking up your pencil and brush. This day of nature drawing is open to all, regardless of age or level. The only guidelines for the day will be to settle down, observe, sketch, draw, paint, listen to the birds and dream.

Elf creation" workshop. Wednesday 24th April - 2pm to 4:30pm - Atelier des Sabots de Vénus, Bay-sur-Aube. Creative workshop to create leprechauns using elements from nature. Workshop led by Samuel Storlaz of Sabots de Vénus.
Wild delicacies. Saturday 27th April - 2pm to 4:30pm - Jardin de l'Eden, Châteauvillain. During this outing, you'll learn how to identify, harvest and use edible wild plants from gardens and villages. Organised by Les sentiers de la belette.
