The public is invited to discover the reconstruction of La Mora, the ship that carried William the Conqueror during his conquest of the English throne. Join us at Honfleur's East Jetty, where the show shipyard presents a faithful reconstruction of the ship. This multi-year project is sure to attract many history buffs to Normandy. Close to the shipyard, visitors will be able to follow the construction of the ship alongside the professionals, while an immersive trail will plunge visitors into 1,000 years of Norman naval adventures, allowing them to discover the Viking roots of William the Conqueror.
