Italian designer Matteo Cibic transforms Riom Limagne's Mandet and Régional d'Auvergne museums this spring. Cibic, nephew of Aldo Cibic of the Memphis group, is known for his humorous, anthropomorphic design. A graduate of the Kent Institute of Art and Design and Milan's Scuola del Design, he has exhibited at the Centre Pompidou and received the "International Young Talent of the Year" award in 2017.
At the Musée Mandet, he has created an immersive promenade inspired by 18th-century gardens, with ceramics, glass and statues, transforming the museum into a garden paradise. At the Musée Régional d'Auvergnehe revisits Little Red Riding Hood with an original scenography and monumental sets, inspired by the Auvergne version of Henri Pourrat's tale.
