Fleurs de Peurs is an itinerant performance that takes the form of a temporary market, set up then dismantled, with the only trace being the exchange that takes place. A florist-like stall is manned by an eight-year-old dressed in large butterfly wings. Visitors are invited to exchange a personal fear for a Fleur de Peur. Through this ephemeral market, Carla Adra proposes a space for exchange where individual fears open up to reciprocity and collective memory, inviting us to consider speech as an act of listening and social transformation.
