When to go Lot-Et-Garonne ?
The Lot-et-Garonne is a region of the South-West, and as such, the summer and spring seasons are ideal for enjoying its architectural, cultural and gastronomic assets. Festivals are in full swing, the sun illuminates the terraces and events bring the heritage to life. However, the unique terroir and the oceanic climate are all advantages that make this countryside both lively and attractive all year round.
The Lot-et-Garonne is very sunny in the summer and less so in the winter, especially in the Garonne valley which is subject to fog. The month of May is often the rainiest with many thunderstorms while March is quite dry. The weather is not too capricious, either in high or low season. Lot-et-Garonne is not subject to strong winds. In winter the temperatures are rarely negative. They vary between 2 and 15 °C, in summer they can climb to 30 °C in August.
