Castle Coole is a manoir neoclassical manor house built between 1789 and 1798 for the Count of Belmore. It features sumptuous woodwork, chimneys and beautiful furniture. One of the major sights is a bedroom that was beautifully decorated for the visit of King George IV in 1821. But he never lives, because he chose to spend the night with his mistress in another castle. The castle is nestled in a picturesque area with walking paths. Also discover the underground tunnel of the interiors for their discreet passage and refuelling.
