From huge green cliffs with a breathtaking view of Lake Foyle to Donegal, the Binevenagh Mountains offer an exceptional panorama. And that's why they were chosen to embody the vast expanse of grass in the Dothrak Sea.

The site is used in season 5, in episode 10, when Daenerys finds himself surrounded by a Dothraki horde, after escaping from Meereen on the back of his dragon Drogon. We see the mountains again, in the next episode (season 6, ep. 1) when Daario and Jorah are looking for him and discover his ring, abandoned in the grass (lucky chance...).
