This festival promotes the rich marine biodiversity of Nosy Be through animations, conferences and sea trips.

Every year, the association Mada Mégafauna organizes a whale festival in Nosy Be to honor the cetacean that comes to graze the coast. Renamed "Ranomasy" (the sea in Malagasy), the last edition of this event took place in November 2019. It promotes the marine biodiversity of Nosy Be through animations, conferences and sea trips.
