For over 20 years, one of the biggest international climbing events has taken place in Kalymnos, the queen of climbing.
In October or November (depending on the year), climbers from all over Europe and the world gather on the island of Kalymnos for a week to take part in what has long been one of the best climbing festivals around. In addition to the professional climbs, training courses are organized for all, and cultural events such as concerts, screenings, round-table discussions and dances punctuate the festival. North Face was a sponsor of the festival for several years, attesting to the worldwide renown of climbing on the island.
