An amazing event in Polynesia! On April 11, 2015, the first international festival of Ukulele in Tahiti was held in Papeete. Objective: beat the world record of Ukulele, which took place in July 2014 at St Mary's Stadium in Southampton, United Kingdom, with 2,370 players. Mission more than accomplished, since almost 7,000 players at all levels, 4,750 of them in the Place To 'ata place, responded to the meeting. In 2017, Hong Kong detracted from Polynesia, which unfortunately failed to resume its title in 2018, despite the 6,302 musicians recorded in the largest Tahitian stadium after usher count.
