FERRIES AREMITI
Aremiti has been transporting passengers, vehicles and goods between Tahiti and Moorea since 1991. Two ships link between Tahiti and Moorea, the Aremiti 5 and the Aremiti Ferry 2. They are both fully air-conditioned and have a "sun bridge" on their roof to cross the open air. Both also have a snack bar for lunch and refreshing. 50 minutes of Wifi is available on board as well as in the boarding rooms. To purchase a crossing between Tahiti and Moorea, just visit the Aremiti site or go to the Aremiti counters at the Papeete Marine Station in Tahiti or the Vaiare Dock in Moorea. No reservations for passengers, you can buy your tickets half an hour before departure. For vehicles it is imperative to reserve a minimum of 24 hours in advance.

Aremiti Ferry 2. Ferry type Catamaran with a capacity of 967 passengers and 146 vehicles. Crossing time 40 to 45 minutes.

From Papeete, first departures around 6 h and last crossing between 5:15 p. m. and 5:45 p. m.
From Moorea, first departures at 5:20 a. m. and last crossing between 5:15 p. m. and 5:45 p. m.
