The Golan Trail (Hebrew Shvil hagolan) crosses the Golan Heights from Mount Hermon to the far north of the country, to the Jordanian border, south of Lake Tiberias. It is a 120 km trail, relatively easy outside a few decouples, most of which are also adapted for cycling and horse riding. On foot, it takes about 5 to 7 days to travel in its entirety. Many points are accessible to cars and public transport, allowing shorter walks by choosing individual sections. The best season is spring, followed by autumn. Summer and winter are more delicate seasons due to warmth or rain. Several water points and campsites are distributed along the course.
