The Fourni archipelago is known for its fishy waters, its fishing and its lobsters. It is therefore not surprising that one of the biggest celebrations on the island is held in honor of the fish! Every last weekend in July, the fishermen's association of Fourni and the town hall join forces to organize a big festival around fresh fish. On the port, large tables share fish dishes cooked together, and the evening continues with dances and songs where all are invited. The atmosphere is inevitably warm, and well watered.
