FÊTE DE LA MUSIQUE
Launched in 1982 by Jack Lang, Minister of Culture under Mitterand, the Festival of Music has always been so successful since its creation. Every 21 June, in Paris and in the suburbs, the streets animate musicians of all kinds, artists of instrumental performance. From Gypsy jazz through classical, from electro to pop, from rock to soul, from alternative groups inoperable to solitary singers, music is everywhere, in all its forms, for every taste, in every neighborhood. The selected groups are playing and singing, dancing the adventurers who first came to celebrate, discover new artists, enrich themselves with the other, or simply celebrate the beginning of the summer. In Paris, nothing stops this event, not even rain! The Parisians know how to face the elements to leave the smile to the lips and a melody in mind…
