The people of Formentera are quite festive, especially during the summer months. While the calendar of patron saint's day celebrations structures the agenda, the number of small events - musical, gastronomic, cultural, sporting - that punctuate the passage of summer in the four corners of the island is incalculable.
Smokers
Smoking is not permitted in cultural centres. In open-air and natural areas, it is the responsibility of smokers not to disturb non-smokers and to leave the areas clean.
