The festival takes place in the old town of Piran, in Tartini Square and May 1st Square in Portoroz at the congress complex-spa in the Avditorij concert hall, in Koper on Carpaccio Square and in Izola on Manzioli Square or in Lonka. The organisers wanted to promote folk music and dance from the Mediterranean and former Yugoslavia. Numerous free access shows will allow visitors to familiarize themselves with these still little-known arts.
