Concerts, parades, shows, conferences and sea outings follow one another to celebrate the arrival of the cetacean as it approaches the coast.
The Whale Festival is organized by the Cetamada association and the island's tourist office every July in Saint-Marie. The festival's environmental, cultural and social dimensions, combined with the challenges of protecting biodiversity, make it a truly responsible event. On the program: concerts, parades, trails, mountain biking, pirogue races, film screenings, conferences, evening events in the town center and in hotels, tourist excursions to discover the island and whale-watching outings.
