Located in the small fishing village of Tarajalejo, on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, the R2 Bahía Playa Design Hotel & Spa is a 4-star hotel for adults only. Il se situe dans un petit village de pêcheur, donc idéal si on veut être à l'écart du tourisme de masse. Cependant, la conséquence sera qu'on se situe un peu loin de tout.
La plage devant l'hôtel est de sable noir ce qui dépayse beaucoup. Petit conseil pour les activités : évitez absolument le buggy (matériel vétuste, guide pas sympa, itinéraire non respecté), préférez le jetski (guide très sympa, prix abordable par rapport à la France, et temps largement dépassé).
