CASA DE LAS MUJERES RURAL LODGE
This project is administered by a group of artisanal women from the indigenous community Yorquin, on the Bribrí territory. The accommodation is made in rustic wooden and palm huts that can accommodate 36 people, powered by solar energy. Beds equipped with bed nets, private bathroom. Typical regional meals prepared with local products.
Activities are proposed among which visit the community and discover the Bribri culture, organic plantations of bananas, cocoa, palm trees and medicinal plants, demonstration of the process of cocoa transformation and cooking classes. But also excursions in the heart of the tropical forest, swimming in the Yorkín River.
Possibility to purchase local products made from natural fibers. The aim of this community tourism project is to improve the quality of life of community members, to prevent rural exodus due to lack of work.
