VNF (VOIES NAVIGABLES DE FRANCE)
VNF manages, maintains and develops most of France's waterways, i. e. 6 700 km of canals and rivers, 2 000 works of art and some 80 000 hectares of public domain along the waterways. The VNF of the interdepartmental management of the northeast offer more than 800 km of inland waterways, 154 of which are channeled to large gauge on the Moselle: canal de la Marne on the Rhine, canal de la Marne à la Saône, East-Eastern Canal canal, East-Eastern canal. This mesh network links Lorraine and the Ardennes to the North Sea.
- The regional tourism committee of Lorraine publishes a free brochure entitled "Discovery and Pleasure over the Water - Alsace-Lorraine" with a description of a small itineraries to be made in the region, sites to visit and delicacies to test on the way, as well as practical information.
