The second highest pass in the Petit Caucasus of Georgia offers a guaranteed show. It is located on the border of Adjara and Mesxethi on the Batumi-Akhaltsikhé route. After Khoulo, the road is only one track, to Adiguéni in Mesxethi. A few marchroutkas drivers (see Batumi station to go to Akhaltsikhé via the Pass), otherwise you have to go to 4 x 4. Open from April to October, it offers beautiful mountain landscapes on both sides. Borrowing this road is the best way to discover deep Adjara.
