When to go Rajasthan ?
With its semi-desert climate, it can get very hot in Rajasthan. The summer season, which runs from April to June, is therefore to be avoided if you want to avoid temperatures that can reach 50°! The best time to visit Rajasthan is in winter, between October and March. The most pleasant months are November and February. In December and January, it can be cold, especially at night, and a few showers are to be expected. In October and March, the mercury can be high.
Rajasthan has four seasons: winter (December to February; high tourist season), summer (March to June; middle tourist season), monsoon (July to September; very low tourist season) and post-monsoon (October and November; low tourist season). In the summer, Rajasthan's weather shows scorching temperatures with an average of 35 to 40°C during the day. During the monsoon season the rains are torrential but it calms down in October-November.
