When to go Lot ?
The Lot is a department which is lived along the seasons. The light changes and reveals different landscapes every month. On a plural territory, we advise you the winter for the black truffle, the atmosphere of the markets which made the reputation of the Lot and the local gastronomy! On sunny days, you can explore the Lot countryside. In summer, temperatures can rise quite high, the opportunity to throw yourself into the Lot, Dordogne and Célé rivers!
The climate of the Lot is oceanic. The most favorable months are from April to October with a lot of sunshine despite some rainy episodes in April and May. February is the coldest month, January and November are the wettest. The weather remains relatively favorable in the Lot because the temperatures are rarely negative even if there are some snowy episodes in the causses. In winter, they vary on average from 6 to 13 °C and in summer from 16 to 30 °C.
