The famous and very photogenic festival of colors, which marks the beginning of spring, is a major event in the whole country.
The festival of colors dedicated to Krishna and Radha marks the beginning of spring. Everywhere, young and old alike are armed with colored powder and engage in battles. Everyone jubilantly splashes paint on each other. Social barriers are broken down for the day, and physical contact between men and women of all castes is accepted. Women must remain vigilant, however, as alcohol and bhang can lead to outbursts. Put on your old clothes, preferably white, and immerse yourself in India's most colorful festival!
