VALLE NEVADO

The station is located 60 km east of Santiago (Route Mapocho road) and is connected with the stations of La Parva and El Colorado, with which it forms most of the three valleys of the Andes (themselves twinned with the Three French Valleys). It is 2 860 to 3 670 m above sea level and has high-level equipment with the largest skiing area in Chile (also practice), several hotels, many restaurants and cafes, a gym, a nightclub, a clinic… A gondola is expected to be operational soon.

The station opened in mid-June and closes at the end of the first week of October. But it is perfectly possible to come in the summer, to randonner in the mountains (the lift works) and practice other activities (horse…). Splendid landscapes.
