With a circulation that flirts with 800,000 copies sold every day, it is the first daily newspaper in the region… and France. Since 1975, Ouest-France has gone far ahead of its competitors, including Le Parisien or national newspapers.
A newspaper that also has a tight network of local editorial and correspondents providing local information in Pays de la Loire, Brittany, and Normandy. Editions in Angers, Cholet, La Baule, La Roche-sur-Yon, Laval, Le Mans, Les Sables d'Olonne, Nantes, and Saint-Nazaire.
The daily newspaper employs 1,980 people, 61% of whom are men and 39% women. There are 531 professional journalists (one third of whom are women), divided into sixty-four editors, one based in Paris. More than 2,500 local correspondents complete a particularly dense information collection network. The distribution mobilises 1,300 people. In addition to its own editorial team, Ouest-France has the services of Agence France-Presse and the Reuters agency.
The CEO of Ouest-France is François-Régis Hutin.
