STATION ÉCOTOURISTIQUE DUCHESNAY
A former forest guard school since 1932, the Duchesnay Tourist Station, located on the shores of Lake Saint-Joseph, has been managed by the Sépaq since 1999. It develops and enhances the tourism potential of this territory, focusing on the environment and the outdoors. The Laurentian forest (yellow maples and birch) covers an area of 89 km ². There is a real natural heritage, including through the proposed activities (runner of the woods, orientation and survival in forests, ecological hiking and hiking) or cross-country skiing (150 km), raquette (15 km), white fishing, snowmobiling, skating, slide and biking, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, pedal boats, etc. available.
