We celebrate spring and maple syrup in a sugar shack around Montreal and discover a beautiful gourmet tradition.
In April, the sugar season is in full swing. With family or friends, everyone gathers in a sugar shack for this gourmet tradition that could be summed up as follows: a feast sprinkled with maple syrup! Eggs, bacon, baked beans, tourtière, sausage, ham, unemployed pudding... not forgetting taffy (hot maple syrup poured over ice and eaten on a stick, like a lollipop). We digest by taking a ride in a horse-drawn carriage or a stroll in the forest. Otherwise, Cabane Panache settles in Montreal at the end of March for a more urban experience.
