This excellent festival with an eclectic programme is held in an exceptional setting at the foot of Bánffy Castle, near Cluj.
This excellent festival born in 2013 enjoys an exceptional setting, on the outskirts of Bánffy Castle, at Bonțida, 30 km from Cluj, a pearl of Baroque architecture long abandoned, now undergoing restoration; moreover, the proceeds of the festival contribute to the construction site. Over five days, in mid-July, Electric Castle brings together some 200,000 people, attracted by its site, its eclectic and indie programming (including some big names from the international scene) and its many other artistic proposals (performances, installations, etc.).
