In many parts of the city, self-service bicycles are becoming increasingly popular. Once you've downloaded the app, a few clicks later you'll be able to get on your electric bike, which does include 3 gears. Helmets are not mandatory, but highly recommended. Be careful, though, as it's hard to get from one neighborhood to another, and the city was designed more for 4-wheelers than for 2. As soon as the heat arrives, pedaling is a lot less fun. All the same, it's a pleasure to discover Dubai in a different way.

Opening time and information on CAREEM BIKE

The price per day is AED 20. The only restriction is that you must return the bike to one of the stations after 45 minutes, or exchange it, otherwise a penalty of AED 10 will be charged for every 30 minutes. The price per week is AED 50, and AED 75 for the month. It is possible to rent up to 4 bikes per user for a family for example.

Nous avons pris la piste autour de Burj Khalifa avec de beaux points de vue puis descente du canal jusqu'à Jumeirah, très agréable, peu de monde. Un plan des pistes cyclables est dispo en ligne.
