BAD: ATV in package is writhing a confined space. Mostly flat ground. They say must pay extra AED 100 per pax. to do ATV at the dunes. The package as advertised is misleading.
Once you reach the site, it is very chaotic. You will be passed from one person to another. It felt like a human trafficking exercise. Driver A brought us to the site. Driver B brought us on sand dunes bashing. We were then left stranded and after asking around, Driver C brought us to camp. Lots of time wasted in a chaotic environment. by which time you start wondering if you will get all that is promised in the package or be rushed to do things so that it all finishes within the time slot. Unpleasant experience.
I have sent an email as requested to service provider, on receipt of their reply below but didn’t receive their follow up.
I booked it directly from their website (Desert safari as well as sky views entry ticket as they had some discount going on). The Evening Desert safari with Soft drinks, with camel ride, BBQ dinner and sandboarding was an amazing experience. Arabian adventures are a bunch of amazing professionals who are with you throughout the experience. I had booked the above mentioned package but due to heavy rains in Dubai, I wasn't sure if it was going to take place. I was picked up from my hotel on time. But due to the weather it was cancelled mid-way and they dropped us back. Since I wanted to experience desert safari I rescheduled instead of a refund. The customer care team was always available when I had any query and tried to accommodate me in the best way possible. The next day our guide came 20 mins earlier than pick up time and waited till I was ready. Even though it was a shared vehicle we were given the opportunity to change seats mid way. A special mention to Sameera (Our exceptional guide and captain for the evening) who not only was very kind and friendly but also a skilled driver and made sure we had fun and were safe. The crew in the camp were fun too. And the food was really tasty and scrumptious. The performers were very talented and met some amazing people on the camp too. Dropped us back safely to the place we were picked from. Would totally go back to Arabian adventures in the future for different adventures. Thanks AA team for making our vacation memorable! Cheers!
The culinary journey curated by Ravi's team presented us with a delightful array of dishes, each more delicious than the last. From the camel ride to the mesmerizing Tanura show and belly dancing, every aspect was a highlight. To top it off, we had the pleasure of enjoying a shisha water pipe, adding a unique and enjoyable experience to our journey. Fatima, the talented henna designer, added to the charm with her intricate and artistic henna designs, which we absolutely adored. The tour was meticulously organized, adhering to the itinerary to the letter I wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone seeking a memorable experience.
On the other hand, the sand boarding and camel riding were a bit disappointing, as they happened late a night when it was dark and were very short activities. The food could also have been better in my opinion, as if you're not a meat lover you have barely any other options.
We paid for the premium package and regreted it, as if you wish to smoke shisha you need to move to a reserved area where you can't see the shows, so it's one thing or the other but not both as we imagined. Also they won't make any sort of mojito or cocktails for drinks which would have been nice.
But overall, I think it's a must activity to do if you have a day to spare in Dubai, to get out of the city and get some perspective on the unique landscape and the traditions of the locals.
He was kind enough to help us wear the emarati scarf we especially bought for desert safari.
When we went to the camp we were surprised by beautiful decor. We were welcomed by warm had towels and dates and Arabic tea. The camp had floor sitting and was tastefully decorated with lights, lattern, water features. The arrangements were so good and it gave a sense of calm. The food was amazing as well. Syed Gul Bukhari was in the catering team and he assisted us with food choices. Everything was amazing.
Camel ride, sand boardings, the live show all were top class.
We will never forget this experice. I highly recommend this to all visiting Dubai and want a luxury experience of the. desert safari.
Khalid you are the best!
Hence, from the car pick up to the sunset to the dune, Safari to the camel ride The camp set up and performances were well organized
Well done !!!!
The food was a disaster, and what a bad reputation and standard, are we showing to TOURIST by giving them such poor, tasting food and menu. Please remove the tagline of Emirates and Dnata so that people don’t have wrong expectations Of good quality and good tasting food Add menu.
Suggestion For food menu
1 . Six. Live Shavarma stations
2 One Manakesh Hot Oven
3 . One Filafil live station dry and make
4 . Dessert only serve Um Ali
Wasting time and money.
Everyone was very polite, food and service excellent.
