Not the same as the old katsuya vibes or food, it was totally empty, no music, no usual greeting, many items not available and the food was below average

Its a really big restaurant, so specious and it feels so fresh. The burj view icer the canal is a total showstopper.
The food is absolutely delicious, full of flavor and definitely worth the price. Service personnel is so kind and they handle everything with such personality.

Katsuya in Dubai stands out as an exceptional Japanese restaurant, meriting a perfect 5/5 rating. The service is notably amazing, complementing the delectable food offerings. Highlights include the flavorful karaage and the succulent wagyu tacos, with the unique corn sushi also making a delicious impression. Although dessert options are limited, the overall dining experience at Katsuya remains outstanding, making it a must-visit for fans of Japanese cuisine. A bit on the expensive side at 250-350 AED per person

I am from India. I have loved Japanese cuisine for nearly 30 years now. We get excellent sushi and sashimi in India too, these days.
But I discovered this wonderful restaurant while searching for Mushroom Bop (or Bops) which one rarely seems to find anywhere.
I am visiting Dubai for a week now and the weather has been absolutely beautiful!
This added to the enjoyment of my dining experience here, in the magical settings of Katsuya.
Within my three days here, I already managed to visit this place twice. Once for dinner and once for lunch. The Mushroom Bop, the Salads, several starters, were Wonderful!
The service by the warm, kind, smart, caring, efficient and lovely Ms.Rebecca and the warm welcome by Sweet Ms.Yai made the entire experience all the more enchanting and charming.
This has already become my Top Favourite dining destination in Dubai!

Siamo appena stati in questo ristorante a pranzo, siamo stati accolti molto bene, attenzione excelente. Cibo buonissimo, presentazione perfetta. Prezzo medio alto ma ne vale la pena. Tutto ottimo!!! Grazie!

Nice Japanese place on the Dubai Canal.
Food was good, service friendly. Nothing to complain about but I wouldn't give it 5*.
Worth a visit if you are in the area.

Katsuya modern Japanese.
I’m not a sushi fan and luckily the menu is extensive in the non raw department too. Beautiful views with large outdoor seating area. Attentive staff.

Nice Japanese cuisine, overlooking the Business bay with the canal.
Food is good (liked the most the corn suchi & wagyu beef) But is expensive compared to the quality in my opinion. You shouldn't miss the dragon egg as a desert.

They didn't have Japanese cake.
Tempura was very poor and didn't like the taste at all.

Menu didn't have prices which is also something I didn't like!

Service crew is excellent as well as the location/view. The restaurant is on the 4th floor of Hyde hotel. Vipes are great, we paid on avg prices per person is 300 aed

We visited this restaurant for a birthday. Very tasty and high quality food. Great service. The waiters will prompt and advise everything. All dishes were brought very quickly. View from the terrace of Burj Khalifa.

if you’re expecting the food to be like the original Katsuya then don’t eat here. The food quality is not the same, nor are the flavors. The service was average, not all staff were friendly.

I really love this Suchi restaurant, it's amazing and they have an outdoor area, really recommend to visit and enjoy the sushi there with the lake view.

Une belle découverte à Doubai. Nous avons essayé ce restaurant en se basant sur l'avis des clients et nous n'avons pas été déçus. Nous avons pris deux soupes aux fruits de mer, ces derniers étaient d'une fraîcheur remarquable. Nous recommandons aussi les sushis et le fondant au chocolat. En bonus vous avez une belle vue sur Borj Khalifa. Que veut-on de plus?
