Hot drinks weren’t included in any package. Ordered a mint lemonade which is famous in the Levant and got industrially produced, artificially tasting concoction. At these price I’ve expected a freshly squeezed one.
Waiters who served me were some like teenagers looking Asians speaking poor English. Communication was difficult, they were poorly trained and out of their depth. The waitress didn’t know the difference between a sauce and a mayonnaise. Seafood wasn’t special, guess it was from some farm. It was hard to pull the shrimps. As I don’t like steamed seafood placed on ice, I selected some prawns and lobsters and asked the Indian cooks to barbecue them. They made an overtaxed and disoriented impression. In the end they managed to tackle it. The ordered garlic mayonnaise arrived at my table one hour later. Best of all was the BBQ and smoker station. Brisket from the smoker and charcoal barbecued flank steak were top-notch: quality meat, tender and juicy. A well prepared quality product was the foie gras. The cheese variation was great, however the desserts didn’t convince me – pretty basic stuff.
Asked one of the supervising waiters to order to me the responsible manager of the event as I wanted to talk to him, but nobody appeared.
Bottom line: Quantity instead of class. There are some lovely dishes, but as a whole, it doesn’t justify the exorbitant price.
I do have great photos but app won't go to the date of visit...
Positive:
1. Bubbalicious stands out as one of Dubai's largest brunch experiences, making it perfect for celebratory occasions.
2. The atmosphere at the brunch is truly amazing, creating a vibrant and enjoyable setting.
3. The diverse range of food and drink options adds to the overall appeal of the brunch.
Negative:
1. It would be helpful if the expansive layout had a table food menu with a spread map for better navigation.
2. Some guests may feel a bit left out if not seated in Mena's Kitchen, where the primary action seems to unfold.
3. Minor disappointment as ice cream flavors ran out before the brunch concluded.
Overall, Bubbalicious New Year's Brunch lives up to its reputation as a top choice for celebrating special occasions, offering a memorable experience despite a few minor areas for improvement.
Bubbalicious is supposedly one of the top brunches in Dubai, and when you first walk in and see the food selection you will be wowed; especially the dessert section. However the desserts are all meh. It's honestly not worth the calories.
There is a lot of food variety but nothing really stood out as really nice.
The entertainment was interesting and a bit random. There was a mime, jugglers, drummers, 2 dwarfs walking round blowing bubbles, a lady dressed up as sweets, and 2 women dressed as hippies.
The "DJ" was good although the sound engineer didn't know what he was doing. The bass was so loud you couldn't hear the music, just constant bass.
The singer was the best thing about the entertainment and would sing good songs.
In my opinion Bubbalicious is not worth it for the price you pay. There are other brunches I have been to which serve up much higher quality food.
Entrance not permitted until 1.15-1.30pm
Asking for a drink at 4pm + 10 seconds having been stood in a queue - no chance
Service is what counts and you failed on the basics
We were looking for a fun brunch where kids could join. So this place suited us.
For the kids, they have some nice entertainment and play area. The downside is that they charge a very high price for kids above 6. To pay AED 300 for a 7 year old is nearly outrageous since they barely eat and drink water or juice.
The pla
For the adults, the food options are great, quality is very good for a brunch. Variety is insane but no need to say much about it since that is what this brunch is best known for.
The deserts are another story and the displays (until they get ravaged by guests) decadent.
Atmosphere is great, live music, entertainers walking around and engaging with guests. Nice drinks as well. We went for the champagne package, and LP was flowing.
The service is decent for a brunch with so many people.
We really felt that at 4 the brunch ended too early.
Bottom line Bubblelicious is an amazing place to brunch.
OBVIOUSLY, WE ARE NEVER COMING BACK! THEY CAN STAY WITH THEIR UPGRADE
No fruits at all was really disappointed.
Place is beautiful staff also …nice atmosphere ,nothing wow 450 per person since we don't drink … nice music
