The Queen Elizabeth 2 transformed into a floating hotel! At 55 years old, the transatlantic liner that made 710 calls in New York is retiring to Dubai and has been transformed into a floating hotel after a facelift requiring 2.7 million man-hours spread over 10 years. The 500 rooms, 13 restaurants and swimming pool opened in October 2018. Docked at Port Rashid, a cruise ship port, it is the first stone of this new phase that will transform this port into a marina in the coming years. Prefer rooms with balconies overlooking the sea.
