Located in the perimeter of the Dubai Mall, little sister of Vida's 4-star version, Al Manzil is the cute baby of the South Africans of Southern Sun. We appreciate being 5 minutes walk from the shopping malls (just the road to cross) while being in the quiet of an architectural ensemble designed like a village in oriental ochre dress. The hotel has barely 200 rooms, with our preference going to the Pool or Burj View from the second floor. At the top, the eighth floor suite. Pleasant Boulevard Café for a frenchy break on the pavement.
