Cousin and immediate neighbour of the Souk Madinat, the "port of peace"(mina a'salam in Arabic) is adorned in warm ochre and has "only" 292 rooms and suites spread out in a vertical structure that one would almost take for a Yemeni fortress. The hotel's bays and terraces open directly onto a large pool of green water, the row of palm trees, the beach, the sea and the Burj el Arab just to the right. The facilities provide access to the Wild Wadi by the coastal path, and to the Madinat souk 2 minutes away, and to the plethora of bars and restaurants.
