Several asymmetrical rooms with wall niches house treasures from India, Egypt, Iran, Syria and Oman. From painted papier-mâché vases to chiselled silver furniture, silk carpets and wall hangings sewn with gold threads and semi-precious stones. The place is pleasant, very well laid out, and the objects are ingeniously displayed. Explanatory sheets are available for the curious.
