For nine days, a variety of installations created by local artists especially for the place come to life in the historic district of al-Fahidi (formerly Bastakiya) under the patronage of Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of Dubai's Department of Culture and Arts. 60,000 people turn up each year to discover the exhibitions, performances, films, poetry, which are spread throughout the houses and streets of the old Iranian quarter. Lots of atmosphere in the afternoon.
