AL FAROOQ OMAR BIN AL KHATTAB MOSQUE
This mosque built in 1986 with 4 Ottoman-style minarets houses 21 domes and is open to non-Muslims in Dubai City.
The Al Farooq Mosque, built in 1986, is known here as the Blue Mosque. Recognizable from afar by its 4 Ottoman-style minarets rising to over 55 metres, the mosque houses 21 domes and bears a striking resemblance to Istanbul's Blue Mosque. Organized tours enable visitors to gain a better understanding of Islam, and to ask any questions that may arise. Along with the Jumeirah, it is the only mosque open to non-Muslims.
