It is the former district of the Emiratis and their rulers and is located along the mouth of the Creek. It was a strategic place for the sheikhs to control the traffic of the ships that came to bring their loads from Persia, India and other countries. Restored (almost too much) in recent years, this area is changing and a nice place for family walks. It is intended to house about twenty museums in the future.

Aménagé sur les quais à l'embouchure de la Dubaî Creek et à l'extrémité de la zone commerciale touristique, ce quartier ancien fait l'objet d' une rénovation de qualité avec des bâtiments à l'architecture varié et le soir des éclairages appropriés. Un moment de détente assuré dans zone tranquille.
